Today's youth of disrespect toward the elderly;
I first became interested in this topic when I started talking back to my mother. When i told my mother ''no I'll do it later'', i felt like i was wrong. I was raised differently from the rest of my other family members. I was never the type to say no when I was told to do something. I was the one that my family members could depend on. If someone wanted a job or just a favor done correctly,my Elder family members would depend on me. Mainly I seen the disrespect occuring after my Grandfather died.( In my family) My family was raised on discipline and respect. My grandfather used discipline to gain the respect of his children. If someone was to do something wrong you would know what is the outcome of that. A beating that you could remember,and you would know what you did was wrong. My Grandfather put the fear in you just by looking at you. That look, you knew what was about to happen and tears would just burst out. Screaming please dont whip me, i would never do it again. Compared to todays generation if a child was to cry, the parent would do/give them something so they would stop. In the old days after a whipping they would just let you cry until you fell asleep. The parent have to always be in control, always leting you know im not your friend im an adult and you will respect me. Today's generation It's kids having kids, the parent are always doing something to make the child happy.
I did a little survey, asking my elder family members questions about the disrespect toward the elderly.''There are many kinds of disrespect'' said by one of my uncles. One of his examples was that the children calling there family members by there name and not there respectful name. Even with me I call only one of my uncles by there first name, an that could be considered disrespectful. Every body else, Uncle or Aunt and i believe its that way because I treat them as my Aunts or Uncles. I say what's up Emmanual instead of uncle Emmanual. (Why) I treat him as a best friend and it should not be like that.
I asked another family member, ''Has the respect for the elderly people changed?'' The statement I recieved back was ''OH Yea big time'' there are kids today who just seems not to care about any thing.

Luckly Jason woke up,after he came to Karen was Dead.Her body had been ravaged beyond recognition.He didnt know what to do so he tried to carry her down the trail.He knew that wasn't going to work because of his own serious injuries he had. The bear didn't kill him just beat him up a little bit,a swollen left eye and a bruised skull.{he really did love her}So he went on alone and managed to drive to the police station in Timber.At the police station Lt. James Baker was the first person to hear Jason's account of the death.After listening to his story Lt. Baker quickly headed for Castle Park.Jason was unable to go with him because of being ddizzy from the wounds.Although Jason was able to describe specifically where the bear attack them at,and where karen's body lay.Jason went to Timber Memorial where he was examined by Dr.Harry Fee.X-rays showed evidence of a mild concussion.Lt.Baker reached the top of Crystal Falls at precisely two thirty.He was unable to find Karen's body where Jason told him but he do see there was a struggle.At three thirty lt. Baker was joined by Deputy Jeff Pierce together they search the area later finding Karen body in the vicinty of lot H where Jason had parked.She was lying in the rushing current.

As Cindy Jones was walking back up her driveway,reading the newspaper she seen an unblevable article.'How Did Karen Holly Die?'In a small
community
of Timber,Wyoming.This article would change her mind about what a nice day it was going to be.On August 2, seventeen year old Karen Holly died.The report of her death was told by her boyfriend Jason Whitfield.As Jason picked Karen Up from her house at 6pm none of her parents was home.They left together to go an see a seven o'clock movie at the Rest Theater,Downtown Timber.The movie they seen was The Blind Mirror,a young man who was checking ticket at the door verifed them being together. The movie was over around nine o'clock,so Jason and Karen rode up to Castle Park.According to Jason it was Karen's idea,she had wanted to see the Crystal Falls in the moonlight.So they parked an began to hike up along the Pathfinders Trail.During the hour it took them to reach the top of the falls they seen knowone.
Around midnight with them just 'hanging out' Jason heared a strange Noise.Jason told Karen to stay here as he go investigate. As soon as he get to the other side
he heard Karen Scream.Immediately he ran back to where he had left her to see a large bear on top of her.{yea its over}Jason reached for a stick and began to beat on the bear.Trying to get the attention away from Karen,the bear turned away an smack him in the face hitting his head on a rock and blacking out.
