Luckly Jason woke up,after he came to Karen was Dead.Her body had been ravaged beyond recognition.He didnt know what to do so he tried to carry her down the trail.He knew that wasn't going to work because of his own serious injuries he had. The bear didn't kill him just beat him up a little bit,a swollen left eye and a bruised skull.{he really did love her}So he went on alone and managed to drive to the police station in Timber.At the police station Lt. James Baker was the first person to hear Jason's account of the death.After listening to his story Lt. Baker quickly headed for Castle Park.Jason was unable to go with him because of being ddizzy from the wounds.Although Jason was able to describe specifically where the bear attack them at,and where karen's body lay.Jason went to Timber Memorial where he was examined by Dr.Harry Fee.X-rays showed evidence of a mild concussion.Lt.Baker reached the top of Crystal Falls at precisely two thirty.He was unable to find Karen's body where Jason told him but he do see there was a struggle.At three thirty lt. Baker was joined by Deputy Jeff Pierce together they search the area later finding Karen body in the vicinty of lot H where Jason had parked.She was lying in the rushing current.

As Cindy Jones was walking back up her driveway,reading the newspaper she seen an unblevable article.'How Did Karen Holly Die?'In a small
community
of Timber,Wyoming.This article would change her mind about what a nice day it was going to be.On August 2, seventeen year old Karen Holly died.The report of her death was told by her boyfriend Jason Whitfield.As Jason picked Karen Up from her house at 6pm none of her parents was home.They left together to go an see a seven o'clock movie at the Rest Theater,Downtown Timber.The movie they seen was The Blind Mirror,a young man who was checking ticket at the door verifed them being together. The movie was over around nine o'clock,so Jason and Karen rode up to Castle Park.According to Jason it was Karen's idea,she had wanted to see the Crystal Falls in the moonlight.So they parked an began to hike up along the Pathfinders Trail.During the hour it took them to reach the top of the falls they seen knowone.
Around midnight with them just 'hanging out' Jason heared a strange Noise.Jason told Karen to stay here as he go investigate. As soon as he get to the other side
he heard Karen Scream.Immediately he ran back to where he had left her to see a large bear on top of her.{yea its over}Jason reached for a stick and began to beat on the bear.Trying to get the attention away from Karen,the bear turned away an smack him in the face hitting his head on a rock and blacking out.
